Exercise better than sleep for weight loss?

Exercise better than sleep for weight loss. Photo of cycle raceToday, this day in June, in the sunshine and the rain, my husband Nige is muscling his way round the Blenheim Palace Triathlon.

Good for him, I say!

But did you know that recently it’s been discovered that sleep is more important than exercise if you want to lose weight?

What’s more, there isn’t a single study that demonstrates that exercise alone will have you lose weight.

OK, so some people will insist that ‘energy in, energy out’ is the key. And to a certain extent, they’re right. But if that was all there was to it, none of us would have a weight problem, would we?

In fact, it’s now beginning to come to light where our ‘knowledge’ about weight loss has come from. And we’re slowly waking up to having been hoodwinked by self-promoting, so-called ‘experts’ on a mission to sell themselves or their products.

Honestly, it’s a disgrace. And our health has been continuing to deteriorate since these ‘facts’ were accepted forty or so years ago.

Obesity is a global problem, shared by developed and undeveloped countries world-wide. In fact, there are 30% more obese people than there are starving people on the planet.

That’s a bit of an eye-opener, isn’t it?

As you’ll have gathered – I’m on a mission to set the record straight – and provide support to help people make sense of the noise there is around staying a healthy weight.

I’ve now conducted my first Automatic Weight Loss webinar, and have several more lined up. I encourage you to join me, and your family and friends too, and find out what’s making us put on weight and how instead to get the result we deserve.

Eat what you want and when you want

Enjoy your food

Never go hungry

Feel good about yourself

What have you got to lose? 🙂
