I’m horrified to hear that some trainers and teachers suggest that to revise for exams, you read and re-read your course manual.
Anyone who’s tried this and has found that they ‘come to’ realising that they haven’t taken in a word of the last paragraph, so has read it again, and again, only to find the same thing keeps happening – knows this already.
Reading and re-reading your manual sends your brain to sleep!
